New Client - How to Submit a Recovery Case

1. Fill out the Case description form that follows.

2. Submit the form for future processing upon arrival of your unit(s) requiring recovery.

3. If you have a printer available you may print a descriptive cover sheet and mailing label.
Please provide as much detailed information as possible. Try to describe the circumstances of the failure and whatever remedies you may have already tried if any. Detail the exact spelling of directories, subdirectories and file names you wish recovered along with the logical disks they had been stored on e.g D: drive or better yet the volume labels for each drive. The more information we have, the faster it will be to diagnose and successfully recover your data. (Please see our help tips for this step)


4. Read the Packaging Instructions to help parcel your media for shipment.

5. Ship or deliver your media with the Shipping Papers produced by the following form or else fax us ahead with a description sheet and the number Sherlock Case Number(SCN) which alows us to prepare the best solution to your ariving equiptment. Even if you choose to use your own mailing labels please make sure to provide the external SCN number generated in the following form to expedite your case.
